Two key personas were identified:

Both have the need for self-study in English to improve their own proficiency. They need our website to help them:
After clearing out types of users and user needs, our team decided to divide the projects into 3 stages.

So our students learn on the website almost every day x 10-15 min per day. We need to make sure the amount of new knowledge learned in a day should be as small as possible. For ex: a maximum of 10 new words/3 grammar structures/1 listening paragraph per day so users can learn/review/test easily & effortlessly.
Our key method is guiding them from step to step. Take advantage of 4-sensory memorization skills (listening, seeing, typing / writing, speaking) to help users remember knowledge. Being "collaborative" learning with teammates/mentors and being constantly introduced to practical knowledge helps users become more and more persistent and feel the great benefits of learning English.

I love working in an educational environment. My teaching knowledge allowed me to design better for our users.
This project requires a lot of coordination with departments, especially with teachers who teach directly in the classroom. I also learned how to deal with backend and frontend resource constraints.
What makes me most happy is that this project has helped Tata breakthrough in the context of covid-19 and gain a large share of the online English training market (growing from 2 campuses to 6 campuses within a year).
